The Imagination Station Classic theater programs from days when radio was "King" stir memories of families gathering around the radio to listen to their favorite shows - like Charlie McCarthy, Burns and Allen, Jack Benny, Fibber McGee and Molly, and many more! Stories, books, and poetry readings also continue to broaden the mind and are a special help to the vision impaired. Families and volunteers find that visits become easier with the accompaniment of nostalgic old shows. Residents themselves can also exert a measure of responsibility by making their own programming choices. Staff members often enjoy hearing the "oldtime shows" too! |
