The Serenity Station The Serenity Station is specifically designed for people with dementia-related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. The programming is carefully selected to be soothing, relaxing, and non-agitating. All music is instrumental with no voices or speaking. The programming is scheduled to assist with peaks and valleys of activities throughout the day. In the evening, at bedtime, there are crickets chirping in the background. During periods of higher activity in the day - programming may be enjoyed such as Songs We Know and Timeless Melodies. In the middle of the night - when some residents have difficulty sleeping, the Classical Sleep music will help them sleep. |
